Floorazzo
is manufactured from natural marble, granite or quartz aggregate in
a flexible resin matrix. Although the tile is delivered in a highly-polished
state, the tile is not pre-coated with a factory finish; therefore,
they should be protected with construction paper or other suitable material
to prevent any damage until construction is completed and thorough cleaning
and sealing procedures are implemented.
Do
not begin initial maintenance for a minimum of 72 hours after installation
is complete. This is to assure the adhesive has had sufficient time
to dry and cure.
Initial Cleaning / Sealing
1. Remove all surface soil, debris, sand and grit by sweeping, dust
mopping or vacuuming.
2. Scrub floor with a neutral pH (7-8.5) detergent, such as TASKI R50
or equivalent.
Apply cleaning solution with a mop and bucket
using as little water as possible. DO NOT saturate the floor.
Scrub with a rotary scrubber or automatic scrubber
with scrubbing pad.
Pick up solution with a wet-vac.
Rinse with clean water and allow floor to dry
thoroughly.
3.Apply two (2) coats of floor sealer such as TASKI “Undercover”, Johnson
Wax Plaza Plus or equivalent.
Apply sealer with a clean finish mop or finish
applicator. NOTE: take care to get the sealer into the tile joints.
Allow first coat to thoroughly dry (at least
30 minutes) before applying second coat.
Apply second coat in opposite direction of first
coat.
4.Apply 2-3 coats of floor finish such as TASKI “Brilliant” or equivalent.
Apply finish with a clean finish mop or finish
applicator. Allow 30 minutes dry time between coats.
